With an amazing firework finale, come along and be part of the 30,000 strong crowd at the UK's biggest free outdoor classical concert, in the stunning natural amphitheatre of Darley Park.
Join sinfonia ViVA and regular Darley Park concert conductor James Holmes in the wonderful setting of Darley Park for a spectacular programme of music celebrating the famous people of Derby and joined by guest singer Philip O’Brien.

Derby LIVE Youth Theatre will entertain the crowds from 6.20pm as they invite you to share in a musical journey exploring the life and times of Florence Nightingale. Visit an upper class ball in the nineteenth century, the sites of antiquity of Rome and the battlefields of the Crimea before sinfonia ViVA take to the stage at 7pm.

Important Information:
- please call Traveline on 0871 2002233 for advice on how to get there by bus
Cycle Derby will provide and staff a free cycle park which will be situated stage right next to the disabled car park near to the Darley Street entrance to the park
- please do not bring fireworks or open flares/candles
- young children are welcome, but please be aware that the fireworks can be very loud
- bring your own picnic, but please refrain from bringing barbecues, due to the fire risk. There will also be food and drink stands at the park – please take your rubbish home with you
- please do not bring animals to the park
- bring a torch with you as it will be dark by the end of the concert
- the stage will be positioned at the bottom of the park and the Lost person’s tent will be located on the left
- chairs are not provided but you can bring your own. Please do not bring gazebos/tents to the park as they would obscure the view
- there will be some disabled parking on the park and disabled toilets at each side of the stage
